Financial Impact

The FY18/19 Facilities Capital Budget provides $47,000.00 for the replacement of all hard floor surfaces in the Hanford Police Department located at 425 N Irwin St. The total project cost from Shaw Industrials for material and labor is $57,493.08. The additional funding needed to complete project will be allocated from the Police Department Operations Budget.

Council Member Brieno asked about the re-tiling of the building. Mayor Sorensen asked about the budget, specifically regarding the funding coming from the Accumulated Capital Outlay (ACO) fund. Dir. Camara explained there was a budget shortfall.
